Joy's life nautical card

I admit it, I was on a roll with Nautical cards this month. Here's the last one.

This was inspired by a little girl's sailor dress. It was kind of fun to make the lines. I used a ruler and an embossing pen. The stamp is from the Pun in the Sun set

Eyelet Outlet first post!

I am so excited to share with you my latest creations and my new Design Team! I am now designing for Eyelet Outlet!

For my first creation, I made this vintage sewing themed card using one of these adorable thread brads. All things sewing seem to be pretty hot right now because when I looked into my stash, I found all sorts of things that I wanted to incorporate! I gave the brad a spot of honor on the sentiment label and added a real crocheted doily, some pins and some sewing themed stamped images.

What else is hot right now? Hexagons or honeycombs! I just got this fun embossing folder and thought it went great with these Bumble bee brads for a bright spring card.

Here are my inspiration photos, that I found on Pinterest.

Here is my creation:

The colors are brighter in person. I used my cricut and the Botanicals cartridge to cut out the flower, then I added a piece of transparency behind it for stability. (the little details were flopping around)

The sentiment is from the Joy's Life Mother and Daughter stamp set.The ink is clearsnap.

Now, you are headed on to Kimberly's blog, but first check out my givewaway!

Joy's Life Tag set

This set of tags was created with the Tag You're It ONE and TWO sets.

I used the image stamps with watermark ink to create background images and then stamped the sentiments over top with nice thick pigment ink. All of the inks are Clearsnap. The papers are Jillibean Soup. The flowers are Hydrangea Hippo. The clothespins are Canvas Corp and the ribbon is may arts. I cut the tags with my cricut using the tags bags boxes and more cartridge, then I trimmed them down because they were a little too long.
